Overview
Bartender/Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing beverages, serving food and drinks, and ensuring guests have a positive dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming atmosphere
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with recipes and regulations
  • Deliver food and drinks to tables promptly
  • Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and service stations
  • Process payments, including cash and credit transactions
  • Verify customer identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance
  • Restock bar supplies and assist with inventory management
  • Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service guidelines

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Knowledge of drink recipes and bar operations (preferred)
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Lift and carry trays, kegs, or supplies (up to 25–50 lbs)
  • Work in a busy, loud environment

Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Bartending: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Manteo, NC 27954 (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
