Overview
Bartender/Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing beverages, serving food and drinks, and ensuring guests have a positive dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming atmosphere
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with recipes and regulations
- Deliver food and drinks to tables promptly
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and service stations
- Process payments, including cash and credit transactions
- Verify customer identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance
- Restock bar supplies and assist with inventory management
- Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service guidelines
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Knowledge of drink recipes and bar operations (preferred)
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Lift and carry trays, kegs, or supplies (up to 25–50 lbs)
- Work in a busy, loud environment
Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour
Experience:
- Bartending: 1 year (Preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Manteo, NC 27954 (Preferred)
