Looking for a quality bartender who can handle volume, is trustworthy, and has open availability. Must know how to use a POS, make drinks, clean up after shift, roll silverware, make Jello shooters, and be engaging with customers. This is a family-owned establishment, so please come in with a mindset that you are willing to work and potentially move your way up the ladder.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to create a lively and welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain accurate cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) transactions using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness and organization of work areas in compliance with food safety standards.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adherence to legal alcohol service regulations.
Experience
- Prior experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant, nightclub, or banquet setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems such as TOAST POS or Shift 4 POS.
- Strong knowledge of food safety procedures and food handling practices.
- Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and managing tabs accurately.
Pay: $2.75 - $12.50 per hour
