Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring each drink meets quality standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about our drink menu.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service requests, catering events, or banquet setups to deliver seamless guest experiences.
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple tables or bar stations without sacrificing quality or speed.
• Uphold food safety standards related to food handling and beverage preparation in accordance with health regulations.

Skills

• Proven experience in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings demonstrating excellent serving skills.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
• Exceptional customer service abilities to create welcoming environments for diverse clientele.
• Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety, food handling, and responsible alcohol service.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order totals.
• Experience in catering or large event settings like banquets enhances versatility in service delivery.
