Bartender

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all tools and supplies are stocked and ready for service
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales
• Handle cash transactions accurately using TOAST POS systems
• Follow all food safety and alcohol service regulations to ensure responsible serving practices
• Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods through effective time management
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to support catering, banquet, or nightclub functions
• Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously
• Assist in food handling and serving when necessary to support overall restaurant or food industry operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or food service environments preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse clientele effectively
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and calculating bills accurately
• Ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume shifts in fast-paced settings
• Previous experience in hospitality or food industry roles is advantageous
• Knowledge of brewing processes or catering services is a plus but not required
