Job Title: Tasting Room Bartender

Wage: $5.00/hour plus tips, non-exempt

Reports to: Tasting Room Manager

Summary: The ideal candidate will be an energetic, friendly, motivated, outgoing and hardworking individual who takes initiative. Flexibility in schedule is required. Proficient computer skills is a must.

Job Description

• Provide our guest with a relaxed, comfortable family friendly environment.
• Commitment to Quality and Community
• Be able to increase sales by providing outstanding service.
• Clear and reset tables and clean bathrooms in Dinning and tasting room.
• Assist the restocking and replenishment of inventory and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.
• Complete opening and closing duties under the direction of owners and managers.
• Record drink orders accurately and immediately into the Point of Sale system.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience a plus
• A passion for Craft beer
• Be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Must be 21+
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
• Must have exceptional communication skills.
• Must love dogs.
• Possess a can do work ethic.
• Maintain an attitude of flexibility that allows performance above and beyond the parameters of position description.

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two years of service/hospitality industry experience is preferred
• Cicerone Beer Server certification a major plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
