Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional bartenders to join our team. Trailside Taphouse formerly known as HWY 71 Taphouse or Flippy's is reopening under new ownership.

We are looking for full and part time bartenders. Pay is based on responsibilities and experience. Hours available Wednesday thru Sunday 11am - Close.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience in a lively environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong time management, multitasking abilities, and a thorough understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using POS systems like Toast POS.
• Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area according to food safety standards
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently
• Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels regularly
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and responsible beverage service policies
• Upsell beverages to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations
• Handle basic math calculations for bills, tips, and inventory management accurately
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or banquet environments preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and sales transactions
• Experience in retail math, catering, or brewing is a plus but not required
• Exceptional communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role
