Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a Bartender/server to join our team. Experience is preffered but willing and happy to train enthusiastic individuals looking to get into this line of work. The ideal candidate will have a great attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a member oriented environment. This role involves serving beverages, light housekeeping, and light cooking (fryer foods). All shifts are afternoon and evening. Looking to fill between 1-3 shifts per week/ we are open 4 days a week - Thursday through Sunday. This a great job for extra spending cash or supplementing income.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. A RAMP server certificate will be needed within 30 days of hire but will be reimbursed upon completion if you do not already have the training.
• Operate POS systems and handle all monies involved on shift.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service, including taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations.
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service for guests at the bar or during events such as banquets or catering functions.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive guest experience.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating tabs accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks.
