Bartender

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, taking orders and making recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order entry, billing, and cash handling.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
  • Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed, and accurately tracking sales using retail math skills.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties, while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by monitoring guest consumption and preventing over-serving.
  • Assist in setting up bar stations for special events or nightclubs, ensuring all equipment is functional and ready for service.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management during high-volume shifts to serve guests efficiently without compromising quality.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
  • Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math, and billing purposes.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods smoothly.
  • Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal requirements; certifications preferred where applicable.
  • Previous retail math or cashiering experience is a plus for managing transactions effectively.
