Bartender

**Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our crew at Virtue Feed And Grain. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, extensive knowledge of whiskey, and the ability to create unique and classic cocktails. As a Bartender, you will provide exceptional customer service, maintain the bar’s high standards, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

**Responsibilities:**

- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly/professional manner.

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Virtue's recipes.

- Take orders, serve food and beverages, and provide recommendations based on guests' preferences.

- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure the bar is stocked for the shift.

- Check guests identification to ensure they meet age requirements for the purchase of alcohol.

- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and bverages.

-Lift and carry 25 plus pounds

-Restocking the bar for the shift

**Skills:**

The following skills are required or preferred for this role:

- Experience with cash register and POS systems

- Strong customer service skills

- Knowledge of food handling, food safety, and food service

- Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus

- Proficient in cash handling procedures

- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is beneficial

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
