Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options
• Serve food to guests
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring their satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
• Manage cash handling, POS transactions and billing procedures with precision
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving practices, adhering to alcohol service laws and policies
• Restock bar supplies regularly and communicate inventory needs to management
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service coordination during events like banquets or catering functions

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in bar, nightclub, or restaurant; retail math and food industry knowledge are pluses
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect quickly with diverse guests
• Proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transactions
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods seamlessly
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, billing, and inventory management
• Experience in serving at catering events or in hospitality environments that demand adaptability and professionalism
