Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Manage Toast POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws and safety protocols.
- Assist with catering events, banquets, or nightclub functions by setting up bars, serving drinks, and managing multiple tables or stations seamlessly.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to serve multiple guests promptly while maintaining high service standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Toast POS systems similar; experience with retail math, cash handling, and cashiering is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service laws.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Effective time management skills to handle fast-paced shifts efficiently without compromising quality.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a hospitality setting.
- Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus; familiarity with brewing or nightclub environments is desirable.
