Job Overview

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure a positive experience from arrival to departure.
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with integrity and accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Restock supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages to ensure smooth service during busy hours.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service when applicable, including serving food at events or banquets.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety at all times.
• Handle multiple tasks such as taking orders, serving drinks, processing payments, and managing time effectively during peak hours.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in casual dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Experience in brewing or hospitality environments is a plus.
• Effective time management skills to handle fast-paced service environments efficiently.
• Previous catering or food industry experience is advantageous.
