Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, following recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, adhering to alcohol service regulations and promoting safe drinking practices.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic retail math calculations.
- Restock bar supplies promptly to ensure smooth service during busy hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food orders when needed, especially in catering or banquet settings.
- Uphold food safety standards during serving and food handling activities.
- Assist in setting up bar areas for special events such as nightclubs or private functions.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to balance multiple tables or bar stations efficiently.
- Must abide by ALE rules and regulations
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet halls is highly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest interactions.
- Experience serving in environments that require knowledge of food safety, food handling, and responsible alcohol service.
- Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques including brewing or mixing cocktails.
- Ability to manage cash handling accurately using retail math principles.
- Prior experience in hospitality roles involving catering or retail math is advantageous.
