Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of drinks and food items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately, handle cash transactions, and manage tabs efficiently.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously by practicing excellent time management during busy service periods at nightclubs, restaurants, or catering events.
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
• Restock bar supplies regularly, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages, while tracking inventory levels for reorder purposes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings; retail math skills are advantageous.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cashiering or cash handling is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service laws.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing tabs efficiently.
• Previous experience in food industry roles such as serving or catering is highly desirable; banquet experience is a plus.
