Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions accurately using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and alcohol service regulations, including proper food handling and responsible serving practices.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, glassware, utensils, and equipment throughout your shift.
• Assist with food service when needed, including serving food at events such as banquets or catering functions.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as necessary, and communicate stock needs to management.
• Uphold all health and safety standards related to food industry regulations and liquor licensing laws.

Skills

• Proven experience in bartending within fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings; catering experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transactions.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods seamlessly.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
• Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures in the hospitality industry.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events such as banquets or private parties.
