Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and ensure a positive experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and basic math calculations for accurate billing and change.
- Monitor alcohol consumption levels responsibly, ensuring compliance with legal drinking age laws and responsible serving practices.
- Assist with food service when needed, including serving snacks or small plates during busy hours or events like banquets or catering functions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during high-volume nights in nightclubs or large events.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food safety, food handling, and alcohol service.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by creating a friendly atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy shifts.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math applications, and accurate billing.
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal requirements.
