Duties

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, lively manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their experience.
  • Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately, handle cash transactions, and maintain balanced cash drawers using retail math principles.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and food handling regulations.
  • Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure a safe environment in nightclubs or banquet settings.
  • Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts, managing inventory levels with effective time management skills.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators for catering or banquet service, ensuring seamless food and beverage delivery.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet environments.
  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills are essential for handling cash and sales transactions accurately.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
  • Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations; brewing knowledge is a plus.
