Bartender

The PG Meetinghouse, located on the main street of Pacific Grove has been in the center of town for 30+ years. Our Mission is to be Pacific Grove's Living Room, a shared and inclusive community space offering great coffee in the morning and cocktails, beer, and wine in the evenings alongside Live Music. We are growing and need to add to our existing crew!

• Evening Shift - Evening shifts are 4pm - 9-10pm. We are looking for a bartender who can work 3-4 days a week with availability on weekdays and weekends.
• Consistency - We are looking for someone who is passionate about serving quality drinks to our customers and will provide warm customer service to everyone who walks through our doors!
• Time Management - Be able to manage your time during your shift to effectively complete shift tasks like maintaining a clean bar, stocking ice and clean glassware, and closing the bar and dining room at close.
• Customer Service - We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in the service industry, preferably within a bar setting. We welcome everyone in the doors of The PG Meetinghouse and want all members of our team to contribute to the warm and inclusive environment here!
• Two Week Training - After we look over your application we will reach out to schedule an in person interview, then we will provide a two week training period where we will walk you through the shift tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Work POS Cash Register: Greet Customers, Answer their menu questions, take orders and manage the Cash/Card Transaction, Keep Orders Organized
• Prepare Drink and Food Orders: Make quality mixed drinks, serve wine and beer, alongside small appetizers.
• Cleanliness during your Shift: Maintain a clean and prepped work environment by maintaining health standards and keeping a clean work station, as well as restocking as you go.
• Complete tasks required for specific shifts– Tasks required to Close the Shop, or Tasks for Prep, and for Cleaning and Closing so the shop is prepped for the following shift.

NOTE: Pay includes Hourly rate + Cash and Online Tips. We are growing so there is potential for increased pay and responsibilities.
