Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
• Manage POS systems such as Clover to process orders accurately, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain balanced cash drawers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightlife or nightclub settings, intervening when necessary.
• Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to ensure smooth service flow; assist with food handling and catering when required.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy hours, utilizing effective time management skills to meet guest needs promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightlife, or banquet settings; nightclub or catering experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover for order processing and cashiering tasks.
• Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding for sales transactions, and restaurant experience knowledge.
• Ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced environments; prior experience in hospitality or food industry roles preferred.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage crafting is a plus; experience with banquet or retail math is beneficial.
