Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of drinks and related offerings.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and balancing registers at shift end.
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and responsible alcohol service, adhering to all food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery.

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender with strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order entry and payment processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a lively environment such as nightclubs or fine dining establishments.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy hours without compromising quality.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and measuring ingredients accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience working in diverse settings including restaurants, retail food industry, brewing environments, or banquet events is highly desirable.
