Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic, experienced bartender to work 3-4 shifts a week. We have been open since 2008 with a strong regular base, and we would hope this candidate would bring some of their own regulars into the bar as well! We are looking for 1 person, and we don't hire very often as we have a small team that wants to work and build that clientele so that they can hit sales goals, which along with that hits their tip goals! We are looking for TEAM PLAYERS!

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area according to food safety standards and health regulations
• Manage TOAST POS system for cash handling, and credit card processing.
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly, adhering to alcohol service laws and policies
• Restock bar supplies regularly and ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored
• Handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills and basic math proficiency
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced environments
• Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal requirements
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and ordering accuracy
• Familiarity with brewing processes or hospitality industry standards is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
