Job Summary
We are seeking energetic, experienced, and professional Bartenders to join the team at Myrtle Beach’s premier Hip Hop Hookah Lounge. As a Bartender at GiGi’s, you will be the heart of the nightlife experience — delivering exceptional drink service, maintaining a high-energy vibe, and creating memorable nights for our guests in a stylish, upscale lounge atmosphere featuring live DJs, hip hop performances, and premium hookah.

In this fast-paced role, you will prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, manage high-volume bar operations, provide outstanding customer service, and help foster the fun, sophisticated hip hop culture that defines GiGi’s. You’ll work closely with the team to ensure every guest leaves with an unforgettable experience while upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and responsible alcohol service.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering strictly to food safety and food handling standards.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering and basic math calculations for bills, tips, and transactions.
• Ensure responsible serving by monitoring guest alcohol consumption and complying with all liquor laws and regulations.
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages to ensure smooth service during busy hours.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect quickly with diverse guests.
• Excellent time management skills to handle fast-paced environments like nightclubs or fine dining settings.
• Previous bar experience is must.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Experience working in nightlife venues or banquet settings enhances your ability to adapt swiftly.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding for sales transactions, and beverage calculations.
