Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service and expertly crafted drinks. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks will ensure a lively atmosphere where guests feel welcomed and valued. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Daily tasks include greeting and interacting with guests, taking orders, mixing drinks, handling cash payments, ensuring compliance with all food and beverage regulations, and managing inventory. The Bartender will also collaborate with the team to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all patrons.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including craft cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options.
• Engage with guests warmly, taking orders with enthusiasm and providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
• Manage Toast POS systems to process orders, payments, and refunds swiftly and accurately.
• Ensure all drink handling and serving procedures adhere to food safety standards and sanitation regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and disposing of waste properly.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cashiering duties like cash handling and balancing registers at shift end.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate seasonal menus, catering events, banquets, or special functions to deliver seamless service experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a craft cocktail bartender. Extensive knowledge of bourbon is preferred but not required.
• Experience in Cash Handling, including managing transactions accurately and responsibly. Experience with Toast is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment and handle multiple tasks effectively
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and execute work independently
• Basic knowledge of alcohol safety regulations and serving responsibilities
• Availability to work evenings starting at 3pm, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally.
• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts effectively.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
• Familiarity with food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and proper beverage serving techniques.
• Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to engage with guests in a professional and friendly manner
