Bartender

Job description:

We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will craft memorable guest experiences by mixing and serving beverages while also delivering exceptional food service at the bar and through table service. Your enthusiasm for hospitality, combined with your excellent customer service skills, will help create a lively and welcoming atmosphere. You will be the face of our bar service, ensuring every guest feels valued and satisfied. Duties:

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by engaging with customers in a warm, genuine and highly professional manner—anticipating needs, exceeding expectations and creating memorable, personalized interactions that leave a lasting impression.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and company standards.
• Provide friendly, efficient service to bar guests and support the service bar for the dining room.
• This position also requires assisting with food service and providing attentive table service to ensure a seamless and well-rounded guest experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
• Verify guest identification and follow all responsible alcohol service laws and guidelines.
• Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption.
• Collect payment for food and beverages and process transactions accurately.
• Prepare garnishes and ingredients for cocktails.
• Restock bar supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of basic math for handling cash transactions.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell and promote drink specials.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations and procedures.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and proper beverage handling.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive guest experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
