Bartender

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently using POS system.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for accurate billing and transactions.
• Ensure responsible serving practices by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to alcohol service regulations.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by creating a lively atmosphere while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies, restocking bar items, and reporting shortages promptly.
• Uphold all food safety standards and promote a safe environment for both guests and staff.

Experience

• Prior experience working as a bartender is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Shift 4 is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability in food handling, food safety protocols, and responsible alcohol service.
• Experience in retail math, cash handling, cashiering, and basic math skills necessary for accurate transactions.
• Knowledge of the food industry trends including brewing techniques or beverage crafting is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
