Bartender

Responsibilities:

As a Bartender at Agave Bandido, you will play a pivotal role in crafting memorable experiences for our guests through exceptional bartending skills, creativity, and engaging customer service.

Beverage Preparation and Presentation:

• Skillfully prepare a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following established recipes and techniques.
• Craft visually appealing and flavorful cocktails that reflect Agave Bandido's signature offerings.
• Ensure accurate measurements and proportions for consistent quality.

Customer Service:

• Welcome guests with a friendly and approachable attitude, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Engage with patrons, suggest beverages based on preferences, and provide menu explanations.
• Address guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.

Order Processing and Cash Handling:

• Efficiently take orders from patrons, enter them accurately into the POS system, and process payments.
• Make change and handle cash transactions while adhering to established protocols.

Bar Maintenance and Inventory:

• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including proper glassware, utensils, and equipment.
• Monitor and restock bar supplies, garnishes, mixers, and beverages as needed.
• Collaborate with management to conduct regular inventory counts and report shortages.

Compliance and Safety:

• Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines, ensuring that guests are of legal drinking age.
• Implement safety protocols and maintain a clean environment to prevent accidents.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the front-of-house staff and managers to ensure seamless operations.
• Support fellow team members during busy shifts and contribute to a positive team dynamic.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
• In-depth knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, preparation techniques, and mixology.
• Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to engage, listen, and meet guest preferences.
• Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
• Strong multitasking skills and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and guest interactions.
• Understanding of responsible alcohol service practices and legal drinking age requirements.
