Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and encourage repeat visits
• Manage POS systems such as Toast POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-serving
• Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to ensure smooth operations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service, catering events, or banquet setups as needed
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for change

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings with strong knowledge of food handling and safety protocols
• Skilled in using POS systems such as Toast POS for efficient sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse guests warmly and professionally
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining quality service
• Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety regulations and proper alcohol serving procedures
• Experience with retail math, cash handling, and basic math calculations for accurate transactions
• Familiarity with beverage brewing techniques and cocktail crafting to impress guests with creative drinks
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event days in a hospitality environment
