Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages with precision, flair, and consistency, ensuring each guest receives top-quality drinks.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, billing, and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Monitor guest behavior and ensure responsible alcohol serving practices are followed at all times.
• Assist with food service when needed, including serving snacks or light fare during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently while managing tabs and processing payments accurately using POS systems.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours at nightclubs or fine dining venues.
• Uphold food safety standards related to food handling, beverage preparation, and overall sanitation practices.

Skills

• Proven experience working as a bartender in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings; catering or food service experience is highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with retail math and basic math skills for cash handling and sales calculations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize responsibilities during busy shifts without compromising quality or safety.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices.
• Experience in brewing or hospitality environments; background in the food industry enhances your ability to deliver exceptional service.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in dynamic settings like nightclubs or large events.
