Bartender

JUN is seeking driven and outgoing, creative individuals to join our bartending team. Recently, we obtained our mixed beverage permit, enabling us to expand our alcohol program into the realm of spirits. JUN celebrated its third anniversary by launching a new cocktail program on March 31st and is currently nominated for the James Beard Best Chef Texas Award for 2026.


At JUN, Chef Evelyn and Henry pay homage to Texas culinary heritage while exploring its potential. They cook with pride, curiosity, and a profound respect for the land and its people.


Bartending Role -

  • Creation of daily family meal drink

  • Bar setup and cleanliness
  • Batching cocktails when necessary
  • Juicing and garnish production

  • Stocking and inventory of product
  • Cleanliness

  • Guest experience

  • Service well (volume cocktail production)

  • Food knowledge and adequate steps of service
  • Hospitality

  • Bar breakdown and closing procedures


Bartending Requirements -


  • Food handlers and TABC certifications

  • Proven experience in working in the restaurant industry

  • At least 2 years solid bartending experience

  • Firm foundation in classic cocktail knowledge

  • Sound knowledge of food handling procedures

  • The ability to work as part of a team

  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • The ability to stand for long periods of time

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills

  • Exceptional guest service skills
