Bartender

In this dynamic role, you will craft and serve beverages with precision, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. Your expertise in food and beverage service, combined with your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, will contribute to a lively and engaging atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS accurately and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations
• Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking while ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws
• Verify age by requiring identification
• Assist in setting up bar stations for special events such as banquets or catering functions
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours in nightclubs or fine dining environments

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality, especially within fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly without sacrificing quality
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and anticipate their needs
• Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math calculations, and billing procedures
• Standing up to 8 hours per shift
• Walking up to 8 hours a day.
• Bending, stooping, reaching, stretching and kneeling
• Must be able to be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, loud noise, dust, cigarette/cigar smoke
• Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
