Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments with POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and food handling procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food safety, proper food preparation, and timely service
- Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly to promote a positive atmosphere
- Support other team members during busy shifts by providing excellent guest services and efficient support
Experience
- Previous bartending experience REQUIRED.
- Demonstrated knowledge of POS systems such as Toast, Aloha POS or Micros POS, with experience in cashiering and food handling
- Strong background in food service, including serving, bussing, and host/host duties
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food preparation techniques
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy hours
- Proven ability to upsell menu items through engaging guest interactions
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of OpenTable reservations system is advantageous
