Bartender

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic options.
• Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders, payments, and cash handling with precision.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations.
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring adherence to legal drinking age laws and responsible serving practices.
• Restock bar supplies regularly, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service coordination during events like banquets or catering functions.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills; perform basic math calculations for bills and change.
• Uphold a lively atmosphere by managing night club or event-specific bar activities while maintaining professionalism.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings preferred.
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and billing purposes.
• Experience with beverage preparation techniques including brewing or mixing cocktails is a plus.

Pay: $21.24 - $25.58 per hour
