Bartender

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, with precision and flair
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure accurate billing
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly and adhere to alcohol service regulations
• Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to ensure smooth service flow
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate catering events, banquets, or nightclub service, ensuring timely delivery and setup

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments
• Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs confidently
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food industry transactions
• Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling practices
• Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events such as catering or banquets
• Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques including brewing and mixing cocktails
