Responsibilities:

- Work shifts are mainly Friday and Saturday nights with weekday shifts as needed

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers

- Take customer's food and/or drink orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences

- Maintain a clean and organized bar area and restock items as necessary

- Complete additional side duties required to keep the bar in an orderly state

- Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age

- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register

- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures when handling food and beverages

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a bartender or in the food service industry is preferred

- Knowledge of retail math for handling cash transactions accurately

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Familiarity with different types of alcoholic beverages, and cocktail recipes

- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy items (e.g., kegs)

- Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22,000.00 - $37,000.00 per year
