Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and promote specials to boost sales.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering and basic math calculations for accurate billing.
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe environment, especially in nightclub or banquet settings, while providing exceptional customer service.
• Restock bar supplies regularly, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware to ensure seamless service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service coordination during catering or banquet events.

Experience

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, food service, or hospitality environments; nightclub or banquet experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy shifts.
• Ability to perform retail math and basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and sales transactions.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Experience working in the food industry with a focus on beverage preparation, brewing knowledge is a plus. Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
