Bartender

The Dayton Country Club is a private, 400 member club located in Kettering, Ohio; it was established in 1897. DCC is the oldest continuously operating club west of the Alleghenies. Located south of downtown Dayton, the Club sits on 126-acres of rolling hills and features breathtaking views.

If your qualities are in line with these characteristics, please apply to join our team of Service Bartenders. Our service staff:

• Pour wine, liquor, beer and other beverages for members and guests
• Maintain a par level of inventory and supplies at the bar
• Stock the bar with supplies as needed
• Cut fruit for garnish as needed
• Greet members and guests as they approach the bar area; have good communication skills
• Follow recipes for drinks and garnishes, varying only when specifically requested
• Being familiar with the Club’s wine list, proper wine service and pronunciation of the wines
• Produce up to six drinks at one time by possessing strong organizational skills
• Maintain accurate inventories when working on a banquet bar
• Computes basic mathematical calculations
• Willingness to operate point-of-sale system

Requirements

• Must be age 21 or older to mix alcohol in the state of Ohio.
• Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds of weight while maneuvering stairs
• Be able to stand in one area for up to four hours at a time.

We need dependable full and part time bartenders. You will work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Whether you wish to supplement another position or become a part of our permanent, full-time work force, there may be an opportunity for you at DCC.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
