Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling responsibilities responsibly.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially during busy nights or nightclub settings.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for timely serving of food during banquets or catering events, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours while maintaining high service standards.
- Uphold all food safety regulations and sanitation practices in accordance with industry standards.
- Assist in training new team members on beverage preparation, POS operation, and customer service protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings; retail math and hospitality experience are highly valued.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a lively environment.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, billing, and inventory purposes.
- Experience with catering events or large-scale food service operations is a plus.
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage crafting is an added advantage for creating specialty drinks.
- Must be at least 18 years old (or age required by local law) with proper certifications if applicable. Pay: $23.60 - $28.42 per hour
