Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and balance registers at the end of each shift using retail math skills.
- Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly, identify signs of intoxication, and enforce legal drinking age policies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators during catering, banquet events, or nightclub functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as restaurant, fine dining, or nightclub environments is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; basic math skills are essential for cash handling and sales transactions.
- Strong customer service skills with an energetic attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Experience with catering or banquet service is a plus; familiarity with retail math and cash handling is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to work well within a team in fast-paced settings such as nightclubs or food industry venues.
