Bartender

Tequila Mockingbird is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for customer service and creating exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve drinks to patrons following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when necessary
- Handle cash and operate the cash register or POS system
- Maintain cleanliness behind the bar and in the dining area
- Check identification to ensure legal drinking age
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely drink service

Requirements:

- Previous experience in customer service or food service
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and etiquette
- Proficiency in using POS systems or cash registers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during banquet events
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Sales skills to promote specials or new beverages
