Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Your expertise in bartending and knowledge of fine dining will contribute to creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
• Stay updated on beverage trends, menu changes, and promotions to enhance sales opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bartender in a fine dining or high-volume establishment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Knowledge of bartending techniques, cocktail recipes, and beverage pairings.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic retail math for accurate order processing and inventory management.
• Experience in food handling practices within the food industry is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $7.50 - $45.00 per hour
