Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and promote specials to boost sales.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision, including basic math calculations for transactions.
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible serving in accordance with alcohol laws and company policies.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down bar areas for events like banquets or catering functions.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service in various settings, including nightclubs, fine dining establishments, or retail environments within the food industry.

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is essential; fine dining or banquet experience is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively in busy settings while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that creates a welcoming environment.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is required.
• Experience working in nightlife venues like nightclubs or catering events adds valuable insight into fast-paced hospitality environments.
