Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to take orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide personalized recommendations.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order entry, billing, and cash handling processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving practices and prevent over-service or intoxication.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of the bar area during shifts, including restocking supplies and inventory management.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy service times to ensure smooth food and beverage delivery, especially in fine dining or banquet settings.

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in a restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environment with strong knowledge of food handling and safety protocols.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests quickly and professionally.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours.
• Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety regulations, beverage preparation techniques, and responsible serving practice
