Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options.
• Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing exceptional customer service that encourages repeat visits.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders, payments, and handle cash or credit transactions securely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations.
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to keep the bar fully stocked during busy hours.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery.

Experience

• Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing.
• Demonstrated ability in food handling, food safety practices, and retail math for accurate cash handling and sales tracking.
• Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple orders during peak hours while maintaining quality service.
• Familiarity with the food industry’s standards for responsible alcohol service and customer safety protocols.
• Experience with brewing or beverage crafting is a plus for creating specialty drinks or unique cocktails.
• Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service in fast-paced environments such as nightclubs or hospitality venues.
