Bartender

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
• Manage cash handling, POS transactions (including Aloha POS and Micros POS systems), and billing accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring adherence to alcohol service laws and policies
• Assist in setting up for special events such as banquets or catering functions, providing excellent service throughout
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy nights or events, demonstrating strong time management skills

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings; retail math and food industry knowledge are advantageous
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and cashiering
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests quickly and professionally
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced environments
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and inventory management; familiarity with retail math is a plus
• Experience with serving at catering events or in the hospitality industry enhances your suitability for this role
