Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, serving beverages, and ensuring that all patrons have an enjoyable experience. You will work in a fast-paced environment, showcasing your ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and responding to their needs, and creating a comfortable and enjoyable environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately and maintaining bar tabs.
• Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
• Taking initiative in staying up to date with craft beer and craft cocktail knowledge and sharing that information with patrons.
• Must be on time, flexible, and a team player.

Skills

• Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
• Proficiency with cash register operations and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions.
• Experience in fast paced/high volume service industry atmosphere.
• Retail math knowledge is a plus for managing inventory effectively.
• Outstanding customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
• Ability to work well in a team atmosphere.
