Pinewood is based on the idea of creating a social gathering “third space” that can accommodate guests’ needs morning, noon, and night. Our dynamic restaurant offers unique and flavorful Americana fare expanded into four menus: day, dinner, mid-day, and brunch, paired with a bar program offering everything from draft beers to craft cocktails. Pinewood Social’s beverage program is a high volume, high touch, craft cocktail bar. We are looking for beverage professionals who nerd out about craft cocktails and spirits, enjoy working as a team in a fast-paced environment, and care about the guest experience. As a bartender at Pinewood Social, you’ll be the face of our bar, creating a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere while delivering high-quality drinks to our guests. You’ll provide expert service in an environment that encourages guests to relax, enjoy craft cocktails, and socialize. In addition to creating cocktails and pouring drinks, you’ll be part of a collaborative team that helps create an unforgettable experience for every guest who walks through our doors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, making them feel welcome and ensuring they have an exceptional experience.
• Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails, craft beers, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. Specialize in signature drinks and seasonal cocktails, using fresh, high-quality ingredients.
• Maintain a deep knowledge of Pinewood Social’s drink menu, daily specials, and seasonal offerings. Be able to recommend drinks based on guest preferences or dietary restrictions.
• Engage guests with personalized drink suggestions, introduce them to new offerings, and upsell premium liquors or wine pairings to enhance their experience.
• Keep the bar clean and organized throughout your shift. Clean bar surfaces regularly, ensuring the area is safe and sanitary.
• Help cultivate the energetic and friendly vibe that Pinewood Social is known for, providing not just drinks but an overall fun and memorable guest experience.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, and beer varieties, with an emphasis on craft cocktails.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of guests.
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a positive and upbeat attitude.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
• Ability to work well under pressure, especially during busy times.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
