Bartender

Spice Finch is an innovative modern-Mediterranean restaurant and bar in Rittenhouse Square, one of Philadelphia’s most iconic neighborhoods. Chefs Jennifer Carroll and Billy Riddle, showcase a creative approach to Mediterranean fare with a menu inspired by the herbs, spices and distinctive flavors of the nations bordering the sea. Heavier influences come from the cultures and culinary traditions of Morocco and Greece.

We are seeking candidates for our bartender position.
Responsibilities:

• Uphold our standards in service and beverage quality.
• Demonstrate hospitality through knowledgeable, efficient, energetic, and thoughtful service.
• Full knowledge of food and beverage menu items including the major components of a dish/drink; this may include ingredients and their source, simple descriptions of unfamiliar ingredients, preparation, and/or execution of correct food and beverage service.
• Adhere to company service standards and protocols.
• Responsibly serve alcoholic beverages.
• Engage management for any guest issue or complaint.
• Develop seasonal beverage offerings in line with existing program along with team members.
• Support team with beverage service to all dining room areas.
• Stocking, prepping and preparing bar service-related items.

Skills & Requirements

Minimum 2+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume environment
Strong interpersonal, leadership and team building skills
Exceptional service skills, food and beverage knowledge required
Passion for customer service and hospitality
Ability to demonstrate quick thinking and adaptability
Extremely responsible, self-motivated, thrives in hands-on environment
Ability to work in an organized and professional manner

Pay: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour
