Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe environment, especially in nightlife or nightclub settings.
• Restock bar supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware, while managing inventory levels.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings required. Minimum 5 years. Weekends are required.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover POS is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and inventory management accurately.
• Previous experience with serving alcohol in compliance with local laws; certifications related to food safety are a plus.
• Experience working in the food industry or retail math knowledge is beneficial for managing sales transactions effectively. Pay: From $5.62 per hour
