Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, providing excellent customer service and personalized recommendations.
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions efficiently using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure accurate billing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightclub or banquet settings, while managing serving times effectively.
• Restock bar supplies, ingredients, and glassware promptly to meet high-volume demands during busy hours.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to support catering, banquet events, or retail food service operations as needed.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, including fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during peak hours.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and drink mixing ratios.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that enhances guest satisfaction.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures across the food industry.
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal regulations and responsible beverage service practices.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
