Bartender

Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders efficiently and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and regulations
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
• Monitor alcohol consumption to promote responsible serving and prevent over-intoxication
• Assist with food service when needed, including serving food at bars or during catering events such as banquets or private parties
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously through effective time management in busy environments like nightclubs or restaurants
• Ensure adherence to all food handling procedures and safety protocols to uphold hygiene standards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during peak hours or special events

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, restaurant, or banquet settings preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS required
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math for sales tracking, and accurate order processing
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in fast-paced environments
• Previous experience with catering or large event service is a plus
• Demonstrated knowledge of beverage preparation techniques including brewing or mixing cocktails
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
